Prices are the honest downside. One-bedroom apartments in first-line condos start around $40–60/night, top sea-view units run $150–210, and long-term rentals start near $600/month. Budget options on the beachfront barely exist — the common workaround is renting in the Naklua sois 5–10 minutes' walk inland and using Wongamat as your beach.
