City Garden Tower is a tower of roughly 29 floors near Soi Buakhao, completed in the second half of the 2010s. Its signature feature is the rooftop pool with a panorama of the city and the sea, plus a gym and secured grounds. The apartments are studios and one-bedrooms with neat finishes.
The neighbourhood is the most lived-in part of the centre: Buakhao market, dozens of cafés and massage shops — everything you need for daily life without tourist markups. The beach is 5–7 minutes by bike or 15–20 on foot. Rents are noticeably softer than the beachfront: studios from ~$245–330/month, from ~$17/night.
Best for: For practical long-stayers: life around Soi Buakhao is cheaper than the tourist streets, and the rooftop pool is a nice bonus.
